Journey Builder picks the right AI tier per feature so you don't overpay. The split:
Fast tier
Used for: Persona generation, Stage suggestions, Action plan generation. These are repetitive, structured tasks — the fast tier produces the same quality as the balanced tier at a much lower cost.
Balanced tier
Used for: Insights synthesis (combining all stages, personas, and pain points into a single strategic narrative). The balanced tier is meaningfully better for this kind of cross-context reasoning.
Document extraction
Document import runs on the same shared AI; the balanced tier is the default for new deployments because doc text tends to be long and benefits from stronger reasoning.
