Capture and approve project milestones

Freeze a snapshot of every journey in a project, then run it through a submit-and-approve workflow with email notifications.

Last updated June 11, 2026

A milestone is a frozen snapshot of every journey in a project at a point in time. Use milestones to mark deliverables — end of a discovery phase, a workshop output, a sign-off — and run each one through a lightweight approval workflow.

Availability

Milestones are part of the Enterprise beta. If you don't see them on the project page, the feature isn't enabled for your workspace yet.

Capture a milestone

From the project page, capture a milestone with a name and optional notes. The snapshot freezes every journey in the project as it stands at that moment. Snapshots are capped at 1 MB.

Approval workflow

  1. An editor clicks Submit for approval on the milestone.
  2. A workspace editor or project admin reviews it and clicks Approve or Request changes.

Editors can submit; approving or requesting changes is reserved for workspace editors and project admins.

Email notifications

Each transition sends an email: submitting notifies admins, and a decision (Approve or Request changes) notifies the milestone's creator.

Status history

Every milestone shows a status history line, so you can see when it was submitted, who decided, and what the outcome was.
